She has expertise in investing in and advising technology startups and currently dedicates her time to the mobile application Foodspotting and to ABC News, where she reports on online communities as their digital strategist. Our first program is back by popular demand - Sunset Yoga overlooking New York City!  The first 15 women to register will receive a FREE YOGA MAT!  After yoga, you'll be able to enjoy a nice frozen yogurt sundae.

Our first book club is "The Time Traveler's Wife" and we have 2 possible dates for the book club discussion.  The cost is $5 and includes the book and either dinner or brunch.

The New York Virtuoso Singers, Harold Rosenbaum, Conductor and Artistic Director, will present Celebrating Women Composers – Part 2 on Sunday, May 13 - 3:00 PM at St. Ignatius of Antioch Episcopal Church, 87th Street between Broadway and West End Avenue in Manhattan.

The all-professional choir will perform a program of music by living women composers, including Snapshot of a Teenaged Moment When Everything Began by Anna Weesner, Sanctus by Jennifer Higdon, Love Songs by Augusta Read Thomas, …with Peace in Mind by Nancy Wertsch, Mountain Folk Songs by ChenYi and Credo/Ani Ma’amin by Shulamit Ran.
Guest Artists will be Pianist Brent Funderburk and The Canticum Novum Youth Choir, Edie Rosenbaum, Director.

Registration for the summer book club reading of "The Hunger Games" is now open!  We'll just be reading the first book for now.  You must be available on Sunday, June 10th at 4pm for a brunch discussion at the Hoboken Gourmet Company at 423 Washington Street.

Cost is $5 and includes the book and yummy brunch - must pay in cash or check.

Due to the overwhelming response received for this book, Women's Programs will host a Summer Book Club featuring "The Hunger Games".  Dates will be announced shortly and the discussion will take place at the Hoboken Gourmet Company sometime in June.

Go see the movie, then read the book!

Women's Programs will be adding an additional "fun" read to this spring's programs - Tina Fey's "Bossypants".

Registration will open on Monday, February 6th with Women's Programs members having the first chance to register.

The discussion will take place on Wednesday, March 7th at 6pm.  Limited space!

In 1971, Stevens became fully coeducational, inviting female students into its undergraduate classrooms for the first time. Forty years later, Stevens is far richer thanks to the influence of women in university academics, research, athletics and campus life. From the first 19 women in that Class of 1975 to the more than 7,000 women who have since shaped life on Castle Point, the women of Stevens have contributed significantly to the growth and accomplishment of the University as well as to national and global industry, where they have achieved tremendous success in engineering, science, innovation and entrepreneurship.
